Soymilk's French Fusion Fine Dining 2006
Hey SOYMILKians. I'm sure you all had a great time at the last cell. Well, you might want to refresh your memory of what we did. And we should keep Candice, Irvin, Jeremy C. and Kong Jo updated. So here's the gist of what happened.
We met at Keith's and Kenneth's house. The plan was to meet at Pasir Ris MRT, but I guess the twins' house was easy enough to find. Some people helped with the preparations for dinner. As usual, there was a time of sitting around and of keeping updated on each other's week. Some people started watching anime together. And others, who weren't as interested in anime, started to play card games.
Cell group started on time. We started off with the song, "Blessed Be Your Name". And then sang other songs of praise to God. We shared about our week. And what impacted us. After singing more songs of praise, we listened to what Rob Bell had to say about "Bullhorn". Then we split up into groups, and discussed about the lesson. We came back together and briefly shared what each one of us had learnt.
Then it was time for two surprises that we had for Nicholas and Evangeline. It was birthday prank time! We made a toast (not the bread) to Nicholas and Jia Ni. Nicholas got to "marry" Jia Ni. Not for the first time in SOYMILK history. There was even the "Wedding March" song and a wedding certificate to go with it!
Evangeline's prank was more subtle. But Evangeline's reaction was louder than the "Wedding March" song we played for Nicholas. "Ahhh!!!" She suddenly found a large ant staring at her as she turned to continue with dinner. We have to give it to Aaron. He really got her good.
We really have to thank Keith for whipping up an excellent dinner. The hard work he put in. And we also have to thank Kenneth and Justin for serving the food.
Well, here are some of the pictures at dinner.
